Marsha Zimmerman, M.Ed

Chief Development Officer

Marsha Zimmerman, M.Ed. is a highly accomplished professional with experience in developing programs, acquiring funding, and managing contracts from federal, state, and local governments, as well as private foundations and other sources. She has trained teams, championed causes and led the standing-up of healthcare clinics, disaster relief efforts and mental/behavioral health programs around the globe in hard to serve locations such as Ethiopia, Russia, Honduras, and Puerto Rico. Having spent a decade in consumer marketing roles at fortune 500 companies, she transitioned to serving populations in need, including those who have experienced homelessness, previously incarcerated individuals, indigenous groups, LGBTQIA+, and BIPOC communities with an inimitable skillset. Utilizing her creative, solutions-oriented approach that produced results in the corporate environment she continues to make a remarkable impact within historically marginalized communities where complex environmental and genetic factors combine with social determinants of health to create inequities. Beyond her professional endeavors, she actively engages in pro bono work, volunteerism, public speaking, and teaching engagements.
